Bayon IT was created in 2012 by Jon Taylor following his passion for infusing technology into daily life. A passionate and expert Mac user, Jon worked in sales and management at Arkansas’ only Apple Specialist for 10 years, and then moved to Minneapolis to focus on consulting and software solutions. That is when Bayon IT was born.
Bayon IT is an Apple Certified, business solutions consultant located in the Minneapolis – St. Paul area. Created in 2012, Bayon IT was created because of a passion for infusing technology into the things we do. After working sales and management at Arkansas’ only Apple Specialist for 10 years, President and Founder Jon Taylor moved to Minneapolis to focus on consulting and software solutions. Working as an Apple Specialist gave the ability to help countless consumers and businesses create custom solutions, utilizing the latest in Apple products and software. With a background in retail, Bayon IT has a strong focus in point of sale software and business solutions.

People often time ask, “what does Bayon mean?” When forming the business, we wanted to pick a name that was simple, meaningful and unique. As an avid traveler and backpacker, President and Founder Jon Taylor referenced to a place he visited in Cambodia called Bayon. A UNESCO World Heritage site and part of the famous Angkor Complex, it’s a fascinating temple that is complex and simple in its design at the same time. Here at Bayon IT, we value the ability to create and present complex solutions in simple ways for our clients, so the name Bayon was a natural fit.
